Met de GFX100RF lanceerde Fujifilm de eerste premium compactcamera van de GFX-serie. Deze combineert een 102-megapixel medium format sensor met een vaste 35mm F4 lens (gelijk aan 28mm). Deze nieuwe camera brengt de beeldkwaliteit van het GFX-systeem in een compacter ontwerp. Met een gewicht van slechts 735 gram is het het lichtste model in de GFX-serie. De camera wordt aangedreven door de nieuwe X-Processor 5 voor snelle beeldverwerking en AI-ondersteunde onderwerpherkenning voor nauwkeurige scherpstelling. De 35mm lens heeft een minimale scherpstelafstand van 20 cm, perfect voor gedetailleerde close-up opnames. Daarnaast kunnen gebruikers de brandpuntsafstand digitaal uitbreiden naar 45mm, 63mm en 80mm (gelijk aan 36mm, 50mm en 63mm in 35mm film). Een draaiknop aan de achterkant stelt gebruikers in staat om te kiezen uit negen beeldverhoudingen, waaronder 3:2, 16:9, 1:1 en 17:6. De GFX100RF heeft ook een ingebouwd ND-filter met vier stops en ondersteunt Frame.io Camera to Cloud voor directe bestand backups. GFX100RF/
