Powerful Flash and versatile LED modeling
With 800 joules of flash energy, Stelos delivers exceptional performance, covering a dynamic range of 10 f-stops across power levels 1–11. Flash durations are extremely fast, from 1/11,500 s (t0.1) to 1/21,200 s (t0.5), and power can be reduced as low as 0.78 joules for precise control.
The high-quality LED modeling light is adjustable from 2700 to 6500 K, providing accurate previews even in bright daylight. This allows photographers to fine-tune the lighting and maintain full creative control in mixed-light environments.
Design of the Stelos

The monolight tilts 90° up and down, allowing precise positioning for challenging angles, while its compact, travel-friendly design (3.39 kg with battery) makes it easy to transport and use with large light shapers like parabolic reflectors.
The rugged housing protects internal components from shocks, dust, and splashes, making Stelos a dependable partner for studio, location, or outdoor shoots.
Flash colour temperature
For the first time in a Stelos monolight, the flash color temperature can be adjusted, a capability previously found only in high-end power packs. Depending on the selected power, the flash temperature ranges from -100 K to +800 K, while the LED modeling light can be set between 2700 and 6500 K.
V-Mount battery
The universal V-Mount interface allows the use of broncolor batteries or compatible third-party options. Batteries can be charged easily with the included 140 W fast charger or any standard USB-C charger, providing maximum flexibility in the studio or on location. One battery provides over 300 full-power flashes.
Easy operation
The Stelos features modern, intuitive controls with two buttons, a rotary/push dial, and a clear menu, saving time on set. Its bright, high-contrast LCD display can be customized from a minimalist view to a full overview of all settings.
Intuitive interface and WiFi connectivity
Stelos is fully compatible with broncolor RFS 2 and 3 transmitters, the bronControl app, and the bronAPI for custom integration. All settings can also be adjusted directly on the unit, giving full control in the studio, on location, or within complex lighting setups.
The Stelos features a user-friendly, high-contrast display that remains readable even in bright light. Key settings are easy to access and can be adjusted directly on the unit or via the trigger, with a clear menu available in eleven languages.
An integrated WiFi module allows firmware updates to be applied wirelessly, keeping the Stelos up to date with the latest features and performance improvements without cables or complex setup.

The broncolor bayonet ensures Stelos is compatible with the full range of light shapers and accessories, from small reflectors to large softboxes, without adapters, making it ready for any existing setup.
The slightly protruding flash tube provides even, high-quality light distribution within modifiers like parabolic reflectors, enhancing both illumination and brilliance.
Precise flash control and High-Speed performance
Broncolor’s cut-off electronics transform the flash output into a perfect rectangular curve, ensuring consistent intensity and color temperature regardless of flash duration or power. The total emitted light depends on the height (intensity) and width (duration), both fully adjustable to prioritize either maximum brightness or ultra-short flash times.
In t0.1 (opt) mode, Stelos optimizes intensity and duration for the best color consistency across all power levels. t0.1 (min) mode allows shorter flashes at the same output, freezing fast motion without blur. During High-Speed Synchronization (HSS), Stelos maintains a constant light output over the entire flash duration, ensuring full-sensor illumination and highly consistent color, even at extremely short shutter speeds.
