Yes. The Devialet App is necessary for the initial setup of your Devialet Phantom Ultimate speaker. The speaker cannot be used, including via Bluetooth, until this first configuration is completed.
How can I create a stereo pair with two Devialet Phantom Ultimate speakers?
You can set up stereo pairing directly in the Devialet App. After both speakers are powered on and configured individually, the App will automatically recommend stereo pairing if the two units are identical models. Manual pairing is also available in the settings menu.
Can different Devialet Phantom models be paired together in stereo?
No. Stereo pairing is only possible between two identical Devialet Phantom models. For example, a Devialet Phantom I cannot be paired in stereo with a Devialet Phantom Ultimate.
Which accessories work with the Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB?
The Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB is compatible with the Tree stand, Gecko wall mount, and the Devialet Remote. Please note that Devialet Arch is not compatible.
Accessories designed for the previous Devialet Phantom II range — including the Cocoon carrying case, remain compatible, although finishes may vary.
