GT2542 Mountaineer Tripod
The Gitzo GT2542 Series 2 Mountaineer is a lightweight 4-section carbon fiber tripod designed for professional photographers. Built with Carbon eXact tubing, it offers exceptional rigidity thanks to larger leg diameters (29mm at the top) and high-modulus carbon fiber.
The rapid center column can be easily removed or reversed, allowing for low-angle or ground-level shooting. The G-lock Ultra twist locks ensure fast, secure setup while preventing dust and dirt from entering the leg system. A newly designed top spider enhances rigidity, and large angle selectors provide a comfortable grip for precise adjustments. The tripod also includes a stabilizer hook for added weight and stability, and removable feet for use on any surface. Accessories can be attached via 1/4″ and 3/8″ mounts on the upper disc.
GH3382QD Center Ball Head
The GH3382QD Center Ball Head is Gitzo’s larger professional head, built for smooth operation and reliable support of heavier camera systems. Made from high-quality steel and aluminum, it delivers excellent durability and precise control.
It features a friction control knob integrated into the main locking knob for fine-tuned adjustments, as well as independent locks for 360° panning and ball movement. The head ensures exceptional smoothness and secure positioning for all types of compositions.
Supplied with an Arca-Swiss compatible GS5370D plate, it also fits all Gitzo D-profile plates and most Arca-Swiss style plates from other brands.
