Leica Akademie Belgium invites you to a day of beach grandeur at Thermae Palace, Oostende.
Sara Scarlet (@sarascarlet.events) and Christall (@christall_photoevents) bring the glamour of the 50s seaside resort to life — the elegance, the light, the freedom of a world that knew how to be beautiful.
A full complement of Leica M, Q and SL cameras and lenses will be yours to explore.
A selection of Leica M, Q and SL cameras and lenses will be available throughout the workshop and is included in the ticket price. Participants are also welcome to bring their own camera equipment alongside the Leica gear.
Please bring your own SD cards and a laptop for the image review sessions.
Program:
09:30 – Welcome & Briefing Introduction to the full day.
10:00 – Morning Beach Shoot – Outdoor shoot with Sara Scarlet and Christall. Close individual coaching. Working with morning light on beach and promenade.
11:30 – Coffee Break Short break at Thermae Palace.
11:45 – Hotel & Architecture Shoot – Shooting the Thermae Palace interior & terrace
12:45 – Morning Work Review First group feedback session
13:00 – Light Lunch lunch at Thermae Palace.
14:00 – Afternoon Beach Shoot Second outdoor session.
15:30 – Coffee Break.
15:45 – Free Exploration Participants work independently with continued mentoring on request.
17:00 – Final Group Edit & Work Review. Full group image review and discussion. Feedback on the completeday’s work. Coaching on selection and edit approach.
