Mastering light and shadow with the XCD 3.4/75P
XCD 3.4/75P adopts an optical structure of ten elements in ten groups, including one aspherical element and three ED elements, effectively suppressing chromatic dispersion. This sophisticated design results in a compact form and delivers powerful optical performance that meets the resolution demands of a 100-megapixel sensor. Whether at the centre or the edges of the frame, it provides sharp, clear images and vibrant, lifelike colours.
Additionally, compared to the XCD 4/28P and XCD 4/45P lenses in the same series, the XCD 3.4/75P’s maximum aperture is expanded from f/4 to f/3.4. This allows for more detail capture in low-light portrait and produces a more appealing bokeh.
Exploring diverse subjects with a unique perspective
The XCD 3.4/75P is the longest focal length and largest aperture medium format lens in the XCD P series to date. With a 59mm equivalent focal length, it sits between standard and mid-tele lenses, combining the advantages of both. It is suitable for full-length and half-length portraits, street photography, and still life.
The longer focal length paired with the f/3.4 maximum aperture provides a soft, natural bokeh, creating pleasing portrait images.

Elegance in lightness
The XCD 3.4/75P follows the XCD P series design, with a sleek metal body and signature "H" pattern on the focus ring, reflecting Hasselblad's style. Weighing just 398g and 71mm long, it's 45% lighter and 24% shorter than the XCD 2.8/65, making it perfect for portrait and street photography.

Focusing on beauty
The XCD 3.4/75P features a linear stepping motor and a lighter, smaller focusing lens group for faster, more accurate autofocus. When paired with X or V System medium format cameras supporting PDAF, it delivers swift, quiet, and precise focusing for a flexible shooting experience.
XCD 3.4/75P: Silent and subtle, capturing stunning moments
The XCD 3.4/75P features a compact leaf shutter that operates with minimal vibration and noise, making it ideal for quiet environments. It supports shutter speeds up to 1/2000 second, allowing you to capture fast-moving subjects.
The leaf shutter also enables flash synchronization at all speeds, so you can use flash in bright sunlight to darken the background and highlight your subject.
