Simera 35mm M-mount lens provides two focus tab options.
Infinity-lock Tab: Enhances stability by preventing lens rotation during installation, ensuring secure handling.
Crescent-shaped Tab: Ergonomically designed for a comfortable grip, enabling smooth, single-finger focusing for seamless operation.
Advanced optics for refined imagery
The lens uses 3 high-refractive-index (HRI) elements and 1 aspherical element to reduce distortion and spherical aberrations, delivering excellent image quality. Its minimum focusing distance of 0.45m allows more creative framing. Thanks to a floating element design, sharpness is maintained across all focusing distances, while the 14-blade aperture produces smooth and rounded bokeh.
Timeless elegance, modern excellence
The lens combines a carefully designed retro look with practical details inspired by classic rangefinder cameras. A 1950s-style red-dot depth-of-field scale adds both character and usability. The aperture ring features “Sun” and “Moon” symbols to switch easily between clicked and clickless modes, making it suitable for both photography and video. The focus ring includes a tactile stop at 0.7m, indicating when to switch from rangefinder to EVF focusing for precise control at closer distances.
